The Australian Diabetes Society is running its annual Practical Skills Course for First Year Trainees in Adult Endocrinology over two days with the first day held on Saturday 18th February 2023 from 8.15am to 5.30pm (AEDT) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Melbourne. The second day will be held as an online virtual event on Saturday 3rd June 2023 from 9.30am to 5.15pm (AEST).
The two-day course will focus on the hands-on practical skills required to effectively care for people with diabetes in inpatient and ambulatory clinical settings. It will be run by senior endocrinologists, senior advanced trainees and other diabetes health professionals.
The program will consist of 1-hour lecture sessions and 1.25-1.5hour small group workshops on topics including:
Supervisors are encouraged to advise incoming first year trainees of this course.
Registration Fee: $99 (inc $9GST) for both days. Full payment is required at time of completing the online registration. Please note, no refunds will be issued if cancelled after 13th February 2023.
